Flowers & Butterflies Envelope Cards
Hello Craft Friends!
July has arrived! And with the beginning of a new month, comes new fun kits and lots of inspiration from our Tres Jolie Design Team! I hope we all will inspire you and spark the creativity inside of your soul!
Today I'm going to be creating some Envelope Greeting Cards! Im always searching for different trends and ways to create my cards.
The kit I'll be using is Tres Jolie July Cards Tags and More kit! It features Craft O Clock " Soulflowers" 24 double sided 8x8 paper pack, with an Extra Set of fussycut 2x9 sheets of 18 double sided images to embellish your cards and other projects! You'll also receive white lace trim, Little Birdie flowers-Wendy Birds & Berries, 2 pack pink dollies, Tres Jolie Chipboard-Butterfly and Swirls-2 pieces.
Here's a photo of our July Card kit:

To create the envelopes I am using WeR memory keepers Envelope Punch Board that I had in my craft stash. From my stash I'm also using 3- 6x6 white card bases, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, foam tape, Embossing glitters- Martha Stewart Tourmaline, Turquoise and Peridot, heat tool, Stickles Glitter Stardust and sentiment phases, sequins and stick pins.
I will be creating all three 6x6 cards with same measurements for making the tiny envelopes.
Card 1: Take your 6x6 white card base and from the paper pack choose 2 coordinating patterned papers. See photo:

Glue your first paper to your card base.

For the 2nd paper I applied foam tape to the backside before adhering onto my previous card layer. This adds some dimension. See photos:

Choose another coordinating paper to make your envelope and cut to measure 5 & 1/2 x 5 & 1/2 inches. See photo:

Take your envelope Punch board, and lay your paper across lining up to the 2 3/8 inch mark. See photos:

Score diagonally, punch and turn your paper and line on the 2 3/8 inch mark. Repeat on all 4 sides. Here's how your envelope will look:

Fold and glue leaving the top flap open. You can chose whichever side of paper you want to be visible on the inside and outside. I chose the floral side for the outer envelope. See photo:

Set your card and envelope aside. Take one of your Tres Jolie Chipboard Butterfly Swirls and cut into 2 pieces. I applied some Versamark Clear ink to my Butterflies and sprinkled some Turquoise Embossing glitter on the small butterfly and Tourmaline Embossing glitter on the other butterfly. The tiny leaves and Swirls i covered with Peridot Embossing glitter and heat embossed each one. Repeat on the other piece. See photo:

Next I fussycut some of the images from the Extra pack, butterfly, envelope, leaves, heart gems and a pink doily from the kit. I also cut a small piece of lace. See photo:

Glue your pink doily in the center on the front of your card. See photo:

Apply some foam tape on the backside of your envelope and adhere in the center of your pink doily. Glue your white lace along the bottom edge on your envelope. I tucked my Tres Jolie chipboard butterfly Swirls on each side of my envelope. Glued the fussycut butterfly on the top envelope flap. I glued the fussycut envelope piece inside my envelope leaving it visible at the top. See photo:

To finish decorating the front of my card, I glued a pink Little Birdie flower from the kit on the bottom left corner, tucked a fussycut flower behind my pink flower, glued the pink heart on the bottom edge on my envelope. I glued 3 sequins on my piece of lace. I stuck the 2 stick pins on each side and adhered with hot glue. The sentiment i glued on the bottom right corner. Here's some closeup photos!

On the inside of Card 1: I cut 4 strips from scrap paper to measure 6x 1 inch. I mitered all 4 corners.

I cut a white scrap paper from my stash, to measure 4x4. I glued the white mat in the center inside of my card. Then glued all 4 mitered pieces along the edge. Then glued a fussycut vase on the lower right inside corner. Here's a photo:

Card 2: Here's the papers I chose to cover the front of my card and my envelope. Adhere as we did on our first card.

I glued another pink doily on the front and added my envelope on top usingfoamtapeon the backside. On the inside flap I glued another fussycut envelope keeping part of it visible. I glued a fussycut blue gem on the bottom flap and the present at the bottom. Added the piece of white lace as we did before on the front of my envelope. I glued the sentiment phase along the bottom.

In addition I'm cut out a dragonfly, 2 leaves, a cluster of tiny ble flowers, birthday cake and a Little Birdie flower. I did end up adding 2 Little Birdie flowers. See photo:

I glued my dragonfly on the top right, glue 2 Little Birdie flowers from the kit, on the right side and tucked a fussycut leaf behind each flower. Here's some photos of my card front:

On the inside of my card, I cut and mitered 4 pieces from scrap paper, cut another 4x4 white photo mat, then adhered inside as we did on our first card. I glued the fussycut birthday cake on the bottom right corner. Here's a photo of the inside:

Card 3: I chose 3 coordinating papers from the kit. Adhere as we did previously. This card will open vertically.

Then I chose the paper with the Indian Wind Catcher paper to make my envelope. See acouple photos of the backside and front envelope:

Fold and glue your envelope together. I took another pink doily in had leftover from a previous Tres Jolie Cards kit and cut it into 2 pieces. Glue one on each side of your card and add your envelope on top! See photo:

Take the other Tres Jolie chipboard Butterflies and Swirls piece and cut the top portion off. I covered as I did before with the Versamark Clear ink and Embossing glitters.

Heat emboss. Glue your Tres Jolie Chipboard inside the top flap, keeping part of it visible. See photo:

Next I did some fussycutting,

chose 2 more flowers from the kit. On each side of my feather I cut several slits up half way and lifted to curl and give the appreance of movement. Then I glued the feather on the left side with foam tape. I added a Prima crystal from my stash on the top of my feather. I glued a large fussycut butterfly at the top. Here's a photo:

As you can see in the photo above, I glued a piece of white lace along the bottom edge on my envelope and my sentiment above my lace edge.
I glued the small butterfly on my chipboard piece at the top and the other butterfly on the upper envelope flap. I glued my two Little Birdie flowers on the right side and glued my leaves behind my flowers. Here's acouple more photos:

On the inside I cut 4 more paper scraps and mitered the corners along with another 4x4 white mat and glued as we did previously. I also fussycut a cluster of flowers and 2 leaves.

I glued these inside my card. Here's a photo:
