Floral mini tags and File box

Hello Friends!

Dana here! I'm back on the Tres Jolie blog to share another March project using this month's Cards Tags and More kit from Tres Jolie! This kit has Romantic floral papers from Stamperia "Garden of Promises " collection, and matching diecut embellishments you can use on any project.

For Today's project, we will be creating a file box using the Graphic45 mini ATC Tags in this kit. The wood card file box is from Tim Holtz idea-ology collection, which I purchased separately. I love creating these file boxes and there are so many different ways you can decorate them.

To begin this project,  I covered the sides and back panels using a variety of papers from the kit. This is a great way to use up your leftover Scraps. I will be inking all my papers using Prima Ingrid Bergman Chalk Ink Pastel Brown (from your kit) before adhering to my box.  Cut your papers using the following measurements:

2 long sides: 5 x 1 &1/2, inches, Back side: 3 x 1 & 1/2, after cutting your papers, glue in place.

On the front of the file box, I cut out one of the small sentiment pieces "Wisdom Begins With Wonder" and cut to fit and slide into top of the metal label.

Next I covered the bottom of the box with one of the coordinating papers and measure and cut at 3 & 1/4 x 1 &1/2 inches. Glue in place. I also covered the two divider sections  front and back sides with leftover paper. Here's some closeups.

Set your file box aside for now.

Tags: I cut out a variety of sentiments from two different papers from the paper pad. I cut them down to measure 2 & 1/2 x 2 & 1/2 inches. On two of the smaller sentiments, I covered with brown paper before adhering my sentiment piece. Ink your papers and adhere onto each tag just below the grommet. Here's how they should look:

Now they are ready to decorate and embellish as you like. I used some of the chipboard diecuts in your kit, in addition to a few 3 D stickers and gems from my stash! Taking the white binding ribbon from your kit, I tied a piece through the hole on each tag!

Tag 1:( Poems) I added this 3 D click sticker over the clock image on my base paper.

Tag 2: (Flowers) I adhered 3 floral diecuts and added a bit of Stickles Stardust glitter (from my stash) on my flowers.

Tag 3: I adhered the blue butterfly diecut and a few blue pearl gems.

Tag 4: (Book of Dreams) from my stash I added another 3D book sticker.

Tag 5: (Our Love) I added acouple flower diecuts and this time I tied some light blue ribbon through the hole on my tag!

Tag 6: I adhered another 3 D Dragonfly sticker (from my stash) and one of the diecut flowers. Tied light blue ribbon through the hole on my tag.

 Tag 7: (Imagine)

I glued a blue butterfly chipboard diecut at the bottom of my tag.

Tag 8: (Promise) I glued a small diecut flower and added a few pearl gems (from my stash) at the bottom right side.

 Tag 9: (Greetings)

I adhered a diecut flower towards the bottom edge, added a crystal gem (from my stash) and fussy cut butterfly. I bent the wings slightly upward to create movement.

I placed 3 tags in each section of my box. You could create more tags if you desire. I hope you grab a kit for yourself before they are gone. I'd love to see your file box and tags so please share on our Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by the Tres Jolie blog! Check back soon to see what Kim, Jeanne and Crystal have created to inspire you!
