Fall Harvest Memory Vintage Folio
Hello Craft Friends!
Dana here! I'm here to share a Fall Folio project that I hope you'll love. This Folio is easy to create and perfect to preserve all your fall photos or recipes you enjoy making during the fall season.
For this project I'll be using the October Tres Jolie Scrapbook kit! This month's kit is a great kit with loads of gorgeous papers and Diecuts and flowers to decorate and embellish all your layouts, home decor and more!
This month's Scrapbook kit features 49 and Market "Vintage Orchard" 12 x12 collection pack. You receive 10 double sided patterned papers, Vintage Orchard Laser Diecuts package (107 pieces in all), Tres Jolie Pumpkin and Mushroom chipboards, 49 and Market Flowers- Country Blooms Prima flowers pack, and Little Birdie Denny Jennifer Flowers! Be sure to order your kit now! They do sell out quickly.
From my stash I'm using a G45 pocket die set, foam dots, Smooch inks Small clip, brad.
We will start creating our Folio base first. I chose one 12x12 patterned paper (pear tree)
cut off the bottom border strip and save. Cut your paper to measure 7 x 12 inches. Cut another piece to 7 x 5 inches.
Score 1/2 inch on left side on the 7 x 5 inch piece. Take the 7 x 12 piece and score on the left side at 4 & 3/4 x 9 & 1/2 fold and crease. See photos:
Glue the smaller piece (1/2 inch score line) to the left edge inside.
On the right side of Folio fold and glue as a pocket. See photos:
Now take leftover 5x5 piece cut down to 2 & 1/2 cut a notch at the top. Adhere as a pocket. Here's a photo:
Using a pocket die from my stash: I diecut a pocket/tag piece from a scrap piece from Turning Point paper. See photo:
Fold and tag pocket. On the front of my tag (with bird) I fussycut out a butterfly from my scraps and glued on the leftside. On the backside I added a small photo, stamp diecut and sentiment title at the top . On my tag pocket I glue one of the small button diecut piece on the top. Here's some photos:
On the front of my pocket I adhered a small label diecut using foam dots And glued a diecut sentiment at the top!
I cut and added additional pages ( 2 full total) from various patterned papers in the kit. I'll explain each page as I go along.
Page 2: cut a piece from the Apple Delights paper to 5 x 12 inches. Score at 3, 6 and 9 inches. Fold accordian style. Here's a photo:
With apples face up, glue back flap onto page 2 in the center.
From the journal cards paper, cut 3 journal cards total. On the Apple 4 x 6 journal card cut in half to create 2 cards. I also cut out the index card (save for later) See photo:
Take your journal cards and score 1/2 inch and glue onto the backside of your pullout page. See photo:
Take your Apple basket diecut and add foam dots onto the backside to create a stopper for your accordian flip out page. See photo:
To decorate the accordian pullout: underneath the pear card I added a photo, a pear stamp diecut. I fussycut out the Gathered sentiment and adhered at the top using foam dots and applied a small brad over the hole. Here's a photo:
Apple flip card: punch out the small basket of apples and apple cart. I cut a small slit inside the apple cart and slipped my apple basket inside. Adhere apple cart to page using foam dots. At the top, I applied foam dots on the back of the small apple diecut. Here's a closeup!
Underneath my flip page, I added a small photo, stamp diecut and Harvest time sentiment at the top. Here's a photo:
