"Everywhere" Mini Album
Hi Crafty Friends! Jeanne here back this month to share what I have created as my first project using this month's Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie. I decided I would create a simple mini album which one is able to hold those special photos taken while traveling. As you know this month's Scrapbook Kit includes the beautiful collection "Everywhere" from 49 and Market, gorgeous flowers too. Here is my project using this kit.
I began by painting the edges of this 6x7 chipboard album using Folk Art Vintage White acrylic paint. Once dry I cut up the papers and adhered them down. Next I made some side pockets from some pages, I used a floral punch on the edge then adhered them down with some 1/8 inch double sided tape. I then added some of the beautiful tags from the "Everywhere Tag" Set package that is included in the Scrapbook kit.
I then added some photo mats using white card stock, next I adhered some ephemera from the laser cut ephemera packet, I did use foam dots on some of them. I did leave a couple of pages bare (without pockets or photo mats) only to show the beautiful papers.
Lastly I did my cover page, I layered two different papers using foam tape. I then used more of the laser cut ephemera, I propped up the door with foam tape to make it look more dimensional. I then added the beautiful flowers from the kit. Lastly added a metal piece from my stash.
I kept this mini album a little simple because I didn't want to take away from this beautiful paper. I do hope you like what I created using this month's Scrapbook Kit.
