"Every Flower Blooms in it's own Time"

Hello Craft Friends!

Hope you are having a good week and finding some time to sit back relax and craft! If you haven't seen all the new July Kits from Tres Jolie Kit club you can check them out on their website. https://tresjoliekits.com/

For today's project I'll be creating a layout using the Tres Jolie July Scrapbook kit. The 12x12 patterned papers are from Ciaobella "Blooming" paper collection. They include journal cards you can cut and use on your layouts and so much more. Colorful floral and butterfly images! These are sure to make a layout stand out. You also receive Tres Jolie chipboards, Prima Marketing flower pack and 49 and Market flowers, Memory Hardware Antique Cloches.  Here's a photo of the Scrapbook kit:

From my stash: Folkart Baby Pink Acrylic paint, Stickles Glitter Stardust, 49 and Market small pink flower, Sparkle pen Clear and foam tape and dots.

To begin my project, I chose one of the 12x12 papers from the kit, Here's the paper I chose:

I chose one of my favorite photos of my daughter. She did a photo shoot back in the early 2000's and she's always been a beauty and so photogenic. You can use more than one photo here or several smaller ones, if you desire.

Set your paper and photo aside. Take your Tres Jolie Chipboard Border piece click here: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/borders

I cut my chipboard into two pieces. See photo:

I took some Folkart Baby Pink Acrylic paint and applied my paint to the front and sides of my chipboard. Let dry. See photo:

After your chipboard has dried I applied some Sparkle pen Clear over the top of my chipboard. This adds a nice sparkle to your chipboard. Here's a photo:

After your chipboard piece has dried I glued both of my chipboard pieces to my layout, on the top and bottom. Here's a closeup look:

Now take out the Journaling card and cut out the journal card of your choice. I'm using the Every Flower blooms....one to match the theme of my layout.

Take out one of the Memory Hardware Antique Cloches. I chose the one that says "Tresor" it means Treasure. And my daughter is definitely a treasure to me. From the butterfly paper, I cut out a butterfly to fit behind my Antique Cloche. I glued my butterfly image to the back of my Antique Cloche, using Glossy accents from my stash. Set aside to dry. I also fussycut out several Butterflies from the same paper. I applied some Stickles Stardust glitter to their wings. From my 49 and Market flower package, i snipped off a piece of swigley wire into 2 small piece. Then glued the wore pieces to the back of one of my larger butterflies to resemble antennas. Let dry. Here's a photo:

Next we can start planning out the placement of all our embellishments. I like to arrange everything first before adhering down onto my layout. I will be using several flowers from both packages in the kit. Plus one flower from my stash.

Taking my photo, I  matted my photo onto some white and light lilac cardstock (from my stash) then applied some foam tape to the backside and adhered in the center of my layout. This adds some dimension. See photo:

In the upper right corner I glued a large pink Prima flower from the kit at the top. I tucked some of leaves, swigley wire and poppy behind my larger flower. Then taking one of the 49 and Market white flowers from our kit, I glued towards the end of my chipboard piece. Here's a closeup:

On the bottom right edge I glued the multicolor butterfly with the wire antennas over top of the matching image on my paper. I bent the wings slightly upward to create movement. Here's a photo:

On the lower left corner on my layout,  I tucked my journal card behind my chipboard Swirl and glued in place. I glued the small butterfly on top of my journal card in the upper left corner. I glued a small pink flower on the bottom edge of my journal card. Taking a white 49 and Market flower from the kit I glued along the bottom edge and added another flower from my stash. I glued my Antique Cloche along the bottom left edge. See photo:

The last small fussycut butterfly I glued at the top left on my layout.

And now our layout is finished! I hope I was helpful and inspiring you to create your own layout. This kit includes 12 -  12x12 papers so you can create multiple layouts or other projects.
