Embroidery Hoop Mixed Media

Hey everyone. It is Liv here for my third project where I again combined the July Mixed Media kit and the Scrapbooking Kit. 

For this one, I went with creating a mixed media style Embroidery Hoop decor. See the link below if you prefer to watch the video on how it all came out. 

First up, I took the scrapbooking paper and sized it to fit into the hoop. I find that glue is enough to glue down the hoop. Once I completed that, I used a number of the ephemera from the scrapbooking kit to create different element features.

One of the great things about the botanical stains included in the Mixed Media kit, is that they can color nearly any paper, wood, and multiple other surfaces. 

Now that I dyed the paper, I figured that I would also dye the flowers to match better as well.
