Embossed Panel Cards - August 2023 Cards,Tags&More Kit
Hi everyone! My name is Jenn DuBell and I am excited to be a guest Designer for Tres Jolie this month! For this I am using the August 2023 Cards,Tags,and More kit!
For my cards I have incorporated embossing powder, embossing folders, and dies from my stash as well.
These cards are very simple to make and can even be done with your scraps!
Start with a card base and cut a piece of solid coordinating cardstock to place as a matte under the panels. My cards are 4"X53/4" so my mattes are cut at 3 3/4"X5 1/2". Choose an embossing folder that highlights the background well like the script one I have used. Emboss your mattes.
Adhere the embossed mattes to the front of your card.
Next cut strips from the paper and mattes to place under the strips. I used a gold paper that went well with the paper as well as the gold embossing powder used.
For this card my gold mattes measure 1 1/4"X4 3/8" and my paper strips are 1 1/8"X 4 1/2".Once these are cut and adhered together they are stamped in embossing ink followed by gold embossing powder as seen below.
Once dry adhere to the matte staggered as shown above.
Next, I die cut the sentiments as well as the from the kit. Also die cut circles were added to the second card.
For this card I used foam adhesive to pop up the die cuts.

There are so many options with this kit so have fun! I know I did!
