"Discover New Places" Handmade Card

Hi Crafty Friends, Jeanne here today sharing my last project of the month and also my last project on the Tres Jolie design team. I decided I would also create this for the May Mood Board Challenge. I used the May 2023 Scrapbook Kit which is a beautiful collection from 49 and Market. 

I began with an 8x11 white card stock, cutting and scoring it into a 5x7 card base. I cut a piece of dark blue card stock from American Crafts and adhered it to the base. I then had some variety sized scrap pieces left from this paper pack and trimmed one to size then with some " Worn Jeans " chalk ink edger from Ingvld Blome, I inked the edges of the pattern paper then adhered it onto the base. 

I then took some flowers from Prima Marketing as well as the 49 and Market smaller orange ones and made a cluster in the corner. I then took some of the laser cut ephemera and using foam tape I adhered it onto the base. I took foam dots and added the sentiment which I inked as well. Next I adhered the butterflies and the bow ephemera to the card too. Lastly I took one of the chipboard pieces included in the kit and used some Lindy's Stamp gang Embossing Powder and adhered it using Helmar Tacky Glue. 

Lastly I added some of the 49 and Market Wishing Bubbles and Bauble stickers from a previous kit onto my card for some added orange color. 

This was a fun card to create and can be used for a different occasions. I hope you like what I have created this month and I hope I have left you all with a little inspiration. I'm very sad to say goodbye but I guess all good things must come to an end at some point right?
