Decorative Gift bag and Matching Cards/Tags

Hello Craft Friends! I'm Dana and I have another project to share with you today, and with Christmas just around the corner, I think my project makes can be decorated to match any season or celebration!

To create my project we will be using Tres Jolie November Cards Tags and More kit. The kit includes Couture Creations papers, Bazzill Hilary 8 &1/2 x 11 cardstock, 3 Gift bags, 49 & Market  Pixie Petals Salmon and Sunshine flowers, Tres Jolie Chipboard Swirls and Scrolls, https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/swirls-scrolls  Tim Holtz Distress Inks Dried Marigold and Ground Expresso, and 49 & Market Defining Words Vintage bits. Order your kit today before they sell out!

To start, I removed the handles from my Gift bag.

I folded the top of my Gift bag at 1 & 7/8 inches and creased well.

Measure and cut 3 pieces of the green cardstock to 5 & 1/4 x 1 & 7/8  inches. Then taking an embossing folder (my stash) emboss both pieces. Then glue on the front and back and inner inside flap of my Gift bag. See photo:

Bottom of gift bag: I cut a piece of patterned paper to measure 5 & 1/4 x 4 & 3/8 inches, inked along the edges using the Distress Ink Ground Expresso and glued to the front of my bag. On the backside of my bag, I cut another patterned paper from the same paper, measuring 6 & 1/4 x 5 & 1/4 inches. Glue in place, leaving a portion of the top unglued so you can add a piece of ribbon for the handle. See photos:

Front side:

Taking some lace trim (my stash) I glued along the front and backside where the seam meets. See photo:

On both inside top sections I covered with some matching patterned paper that measures 4 & 1/4 x 1 & 1/4 inches and matted on some of the green cardstock from my scraps.  Here's a photo:

Glued these in place along both inside sections of your Gift bag.

Then take some velcro from my stash, I glued to create a closure inside and outside front of my bag. See photo:

Taking my Tres Jolie chipboard Swirls and Scrolls piece, I applied some Copper ink onto my chipboard. See photo:

I glued the chipboard piece to the bottom left edge of my Gift bag. Then glued acouple of the Sunshine flowers in this kit over top of my chipboard swirls.

I took some green ribbon from my stash and glued at the inside top of my bag to create a handle. I took a gold wax seal from my stash and glued on the front flap of my bag.

Taking one of the small Gift tags from this kit, I covered the front of my tag, with a piece of green cardstock and glued in place. Taking some of the Rub'ons in the kit, I applied to my tag.

Then glued a small flower in place. From my stash, I diecut 2 small bows and glued one on top of another. See photo:

and glued at the top of my Gift tag. I tied my tag to my bag with some jute cord in my stash. Here's some photos:

Card size I chose to use measures 4 & 1/4 x 5 & 1/2 inches. The Cards are from my stash. I covered the base of my card with the green cardstock in the kit.

It measures 4 x 5 & 1/4 inches. The patterned paper I cut to measure 3 & 7/8 x 5 & 1/4 inches and adhered using foam dots in my stash.

I applied copper ink to the top of my Tres Jolie Swirls and Scrolls chipboard and glued in the upper left corner of my card. I glued acouple yellow flowers on top. Taking my rub-ons, I applied some sentiments. Here's a closeup photo of my finished card:

Tag 1:  I covered with same scrap green paper 2x4 inches and punched a hole at the top before adhering in place onto my tag base. I cut a scrap of matching patterned paper to measure 1 & 3/4 x 3 & 1/4 inches and adhered using foam dots. I applied some rubons and another bow and gem from my stash. Here's a photo:

Card 2: I made a vertical card and cut my green cardstock to measure 4 x 5 & 1/4 inches and glued in place. Taking the bamboo weave paper cut at 3 & 7/8 x 3 & 5/8 I adhered using foam dots. The next patterned bamboo leaf paper cut to 3 & 1/2 x 3 & 1/4 inches and adhered at the right side of my card surface using foam tape.  This adds dimension which I love. I glued a yellow flower in the right upper corner. Took some of the Rub'ons and applied a sentiment to the front of my card, and cut apart a few other words rub-ons and applied to the left side. I cut apart one of the swirls chipboard and glued onto my card along with another flower. Here's a photo:

Tag 2: I covered another white tag base with a scrap piece of green cardstock cut at 1 & 5/8 x 3 & 1/8 Inches and glued in place. The leftover piece of bamboo weave paper I glued in place with foam dots. I fussycut acouple bamboo leaves and adhered on my tag using foam dots. I added a rub-on sentiment word and acouple flowers. Here's a closeup:

I hope you enjoyed my project and are eager to create some for yourself. I think they are such fun to create and send to someone special.
