Dancing into Creativity: A Prima Ballerina Layout with the June Kit!

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Kim here, and I am so excited to share my first layout using the absolutely stunning June "Plume & Petals" Scrapbook Kit!

The moment I saw the rich purples and delicate feather motifs in this month’s collection, I knew I needed to find the right photo. I found this beautiful ballerina photo on Pinterest. The soft, dreamy patterns in the papers are the perfect backdrop for the elegance of dance.

Finding My Rhythm

I started my process by layering the beautiful pieces from the ephemera pack. The deep, royal purples contrast beautifully with the softer lavender and cream prints, providing a sense of sophisticated movement.

The absolute star of this month’s kit (besides the gorgeous papers!) is the brand-new exclusive Tres Jolie chipboard pieces. I used  the intricate feather to cluster around my photo, giving the layout immediate structure and depth. I it a quick coat of purple wax to make them sparkle, just like a spotlight on stage!

Adding a Personal Signature

While the June kit is overflowing with goodness, the magic really happens when you mix in a few treasures from your own stash!

To complete this "Prima Ballerina" theme, I dug into my personal stash and added:

• Musical chipboard piece: I used gold wax to color it.

• Miniature Silver Slippers & Ballerina Motifs: These tiny resin pieces add an essential, tactile touch of ballet magic.

• Layered Purple Blooms: Adding a few larger, dimension flowers from my flower drawer helped me balance the weight of the composition.
