Cute Critters Valentine Cards and Envelope Box

Hello Craft Friends!

Thank you for visiting our Tres Jolie blog! I'm excited to share my Valentine's Day Cards and Envelope Box! I created these using the February Cards Tags and More kit! Wait till you see these cute papers and Matching Diecut punchouts from Paper Rose! They have cute critter images and 18 double sided 6x8 papers. You'll receive two of each, along with 4 sheets of 8x8 punchout diecuts. That's a great value. But there's more, you get Tres Jolie tiny hearts and Diamond Chipboards, Little Birdie flowers packs- 2 sets, Studio Light's Stamp set Essentials with plenty of sentiment phases, to use on your cards, envelopes and More!  You also receive a inso sheet to inspire you, Tonic Craft Die - Double Butterfly Tag and 3 Red Dollies. Here's a photo of the kit:

From my stash I am using White Card Bases in 3 different sizes, 6x6, 5x5 4 & 1/4 & 5 & 1/2, white 6x6 box blank from Hunkydory, foam dots, Red glitter embossing powder,  Lady bug red embossing powder heat tool, copper glitter, red jute string, Stickles Glitter Stardust.
Card 1: I cut my Love Birds/hearts paper into three pieces. See photo:

Glue the pink hearts piece on the left side of my 6x6 card base.
See photo:

Take 3 Tres Jolie Chipboard tiny hearts and apply Versamark Clear ink and sprinkle Red Embossing glitter over the top of each heart. Shake off any excess embossing glitter and heat emboss each heart. See photo:
Glue your tiny chipboard hearts spaced evenly on the left side. With foam dots I adhered "To My Valentine " diecut sentiment on the left side of the Love Birds. I stamped "Love is sweet" sentiment from the Stamp set and added along the bottom right corner. I applied some Stickles Stardust glitter on the bird's wings. Here's some closeup photos:

Open up your card and glue the extra heart strip leftover previously on the right inside edge. I glued the heart sentiment diecut piece in the center. Here's a photo:
Card #2: 5x5 card base, I trimmed the polka dot/floral paper to measure 4 & 7/8 x 4 & 7/8 inches, adhere on your card base. This leaves a white edge all around the edge. See photo:

Take another  Tres Jolie tiny chipboard heart, apply clear ink and sprinkle Lady Bug red embossing powder over the top. Shake off any excess embossing powder and heat emboss. See photo:
With foam dots I adhered the sweetheart diecut sentiment and heart chipboard on the lower right edge of my card. I took one of the red dollies in the kit, and cut in half. I glued my half doily on the left side,  added the cute weasel heart diecut and with foam dots added another diecut heart. Here's some photos:

Inside of card: i glued a polka dot strip along the bottom edge. Glued the heart Envelope diecut on the right corner at a slight angle. Then stamped a sentiment above. Here's a photo:
Next we will be creating our Envelope Box. This box measures 6x6 and I have these in my craft stash. Just fold and glue together. Here's a photo:

To decorate the top of my envelope box, I cut the pink diamond patterned paper to 6x6 and adhered on the top lid of my envelope box. See photo:

Take your Tres Jolie Chipboard diamonds piece from your kit. I covered the top of each diamond with Versamark Clear ink and Pink embossing powder. Heat emboss.  See photo:

Glue your diamonds towards the left side. From your kit remove your Tonic Craft die and using pink and white cardstock from my stash and my diecutting machine, I diecut both pieces. See photo:

On the tiny Tag using some red ink and the tiny heart Stamp I stamped acouple hearts. I tied both tags together with red jute string. Then added a few tiny Dazzle heart stickers from my stash. Glue your tag on the top right corner. I glued the adorable kitties heart diecut, and tiny pink heart on top of the diamond chipboards along the bottom. I glued my sentiment at the top. I took the Love diecut word and glued at the top left corner. To finish the top of my box, I hot glued a cluster of Little Birdie flowers in the kit. I think this would be a fun way to present a special handmade card to a Crafty friend or family member.
Here's some photos:

On the inside of my envelope box, I cut another diamond patterned paper to measure 6x6 and glued inside the bottom of my box. I stamped another sentiment and added an heart Envelope diecut on the leftside. Here's a photo:
Card # 3 Card size is 6x6. I trimmed the fawn paper into 2 pieces. I adhered the fawns on the right side and a diamond strip on the left. With foam dots I adhered a diecut sentiment at the top. Taking another chipboard tiny heart, I covered with glue and sprinkled copper glitter over the top. Set aside to dry. See photo:

Using hot glue, I added the Little Birdie Red cluster of roses on the bottom left edge. Then glued my copper chipboard heart tucked behind the roses.
Using the tiny heart stamp, I stamped 3 hearts above my flowers. Here's some closeup photos!
Inside of my card, I cut another image of the fawns and glued on the inside right edge. I glued a sentiment and pink heart at the top and bottom. Here's a photo:
Card #4 this card measures 4 & 1/4 x 5 & 1/2 inches. I cut my floral/pink polka dot patterned paper to measure 5 & 1/4 x 4 inches. Add some foam tape on the backside and adhere onto the front of your card. This adds dimension. See photos:
Now with foam dots, I adhered the sentiment diecut at the top and the bunnies/heart diecut along the bottom. At the top right corner I glued a cluster of Little Birdie flowers from the kit. Here's a photo:
On the inside of my card,  I cut an polka dot strip and glued on the right side. I added a red heart diecut piece over the top and stamped a sentiment on the left side. Here's a photo:
