Crisp Autumn Memories Layouts
Hello Craft Friends!
Happy October! The fall season has begun and some places are already bursting with fall colors! Fall makes me think of crisp leaves, apple cider, pumpkins and spice!
You are going to LOVE our October Scrapbook kit! It features Simple Stories 12 x12 collection "Simple Vintage Autumn Breeze" There is so many wonderful papers perfect for creating layouts, cards, folios, albums and so much more! You'll receive 12 sheets of double sided patterned papers, plus cut apart journal cards and elements even a 12x12 sticker sheet! But there's more, you'll receive a Bits & Pieces pack- 66 pieces, ephemera pack- 50 pieces, matching Rub-on transfer sheets-2 Little Birdie flowers 2 packs. Then TJ new chipboard designs birds/branches and gold metal leaves embellishments!

From my stash I will be using: foam dots and tape, Distress Ink Rusty Hinge and Gathered Twigs, Spectrum Noir Sparkle Inks- Candlelight, Harvest Moon and Olive Jade, Copper ink and Copper Embossing powder Stickles Glitter Golden Rod and Stardust.
Today I'll be creating two fall layouts. Beginning with my first layout i chose a 12x12 " Harvest Memories paper. See photo:
Set your paper aside and take out the Tres Jolie chipboard Birds/branches piece. I cut mine into 2 pieces. See photo:
You can use Inks, sprays, glitter, paints, Embossing powders to decorate your chipboards. I chose to add some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Inks Olive Jade to part of my leaves using my paintbrush. The branches i left plain. I only painted parts of the leaves with the Olive Jade ink.
I added Candlelight Sparkle ink and blended them together to resemble fall leaves. For the birds i mixed Candlelight and Harvest Moon Sparkle inks. See photo:
After my chipboard dried throughly, I glued one piece at the top right corner and the other piece on the lower left corner.
Next I gathered some various embellishments from the kit. I cut out a red plaid scrap of paper from "Welcome Fall" and cut to measure 5 & 1/4 x 4 & 1/4 inches. I also cut out a 4x4 journal card. See photo:
I placed my red plaid paper in the center towards the left side. Glue in place. With foam dots on the backside of my journal card I adhered at a slight angle over top of plaid paper. I glued the blessed ephemera tab at the top behind the plaid paper.i glued a give thanks sentiment ephemera piece below my journal card. I applied some Stickles Golden Rod glitter on some of the leaves on my journal card. Here's a photo:
At the top left corner, I applied the "Welcome" Rub-on and glued acouple Little Birdie flowers. See photo:
On the top right i applied the fall and heart Rub-on transfers. I glued my Tres Jolie chipboard Birds on the right side. Here's a photo:
On the bottom right corner I glued a cluster of Little Birdie flowers. Here's a photo:

Layout #2: For my background paper i chose " Cozy Season" See photo:
Next I took " Crisp Days" paper and tore a piece from the right side. I cut a photo strip from " Give Thanks" paper. See photo:
I placed the photo strip on the leftside and the torn paper on the right side.
I cut a scrap from " Welcome Fall " paper (7x4 & 1/2) inches. I cut out a 4x6 journal card, one of the element pieces and a 3x4 Journaling card.i scored the element piece in the center and folded in half.
Set your layout aside. Take the other Tres Jolie chipboard piece from the kit. I applied some Copper ink and sprinkled Copper Embossing powder over the top. Then heat embossed. See photo:
I took a scrap piece from " Welcome Fall " and glued behind my chipboard piece. Trim away any excess paper using an x-acto knife (my stash) See photo:
Now we are ready to chose some embellishments from the kit and arrange onto our layout. At the top, I glued my red plaid scrap paper and with foam tape I adhered my journal card at an angle. I glued the memories ephemera tab behind my journal card. I applied some Stickles Stardust and Golden Rod glitter on some of the leaves and foliage. At the top right I added a sentiment sticker and hearts. Here's a photo:
On the bottom right edge I took my 3x4 Journaling card and applied glue on 3 sides and adhered as a diagonal pocket. I slipped the element card inside. I added the cute little raccoon sticker on the leftside. Here's a photo:
My chipboard piece i glued acouple ephemera leaves on scattered areas in applied a sticker sentiment along the bottom half on my chipboard. I added a left sticker on the bottom edge of my journal card.
