Our Scrapbook kit this month features this wonderful 12x12 paper collection from Simple Stories, " Vintage Junk Drawer" it includes 12 double sided papers and a 12x12 sticker sheet, Matching journal bits and ephemera. Also included are some Tres Jolie Chipboard Butterflies, border and stamps, Prima Marketing flowers and Card Deco clear stamp. Hope you get your kit today because they can sell out fast. Here's a photo of the Scrapbook kit:

From my stash I will be using foam tape and dots, Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Gathered Twigs and Victorian Velvet, score board, x-acto knife, Distress tool, Stickles Glitter Stardust, tiny clothes pin, Copper ink and copper Embossing powder, Tim Holtz Idea-ology tiny paper dolls.
To create thus Tag book, I am using Tres Jolie Chipboard Large Tags. You will need 6 tags total for this project.

Before I begin, take note that I originally punched my holes on all papers covering my Chipboard Tags. However, I have changed my mind later on just covering each hole and not punching them. But you can if you wish. I will explain later how I finished my tag book.
To create my first set of signature tags I chose this patterned paper from "Share my Story" and cut to measure 3 & 7/8 x 8 & 3/4. You only need to cover the front of each Signature tag. I am inking all my papers before adhering to my Chipboard Tags. Trim all 4 corners using an x-acto knife. Then Distress any rough edges. See photo:

Signature Tag #1:

I tore a piece from "small things paper and cut out a journal card from the 4x6 elements sheet. Chose some Ephemera pieces to embellish my tag. See photo:

I adhered foam tape on the backside of the journal card clipboard then adhered towards the left edge, tucking the Ephemera piece behind it.I added a leaf, sticker metal piece and ticket at the top. I glued the torn blue piece along the bottom edge. With foam dots I added a Tim Holtz paper dolls and Prima flower on the bottom edge. Added a sticker sentiment at the top of my tag. Here's some finished photos:

Tag 2: I covered using the "Timeless Moments paper, using the same measurements as we did on our first tag.

I added a sticker border at the top of my tag. I cut out the journal card element with the file drawer. I chose some Ephemera pieces. See photo:

On the bottom edge I applied a Ephemera border piece. With foam dots I adhered my file drawer and glued the Documented tab at the top. I tucked the remember Ephemera card behind my file drawer.

With foam dots I adhered my Tim Holtz Idea-ology paper dolls at the top of my file drawer. I added a sticker sentiment to my label and glued on the top left edge on my file drawer. With a foam dots on the backside, I added the Ephemera metal circle. Here's a photo:

To create a hinge so we can attach our first 2 signature tags, I took a scrap piece of paper from the kit, and cut it the length of my tag, and about 1& 1/2 inches wide. Score at 3/4 inches. Fold. Then applied glue along the first edge and add the 1st tag. See photos:

Now add glue to the other side of your hinge then add your 2nd tag.

Set this signature aside. Take your 3rd tag and cover with another patterned paper from this kit. I used "Notes & Things" paper. Cut as we did previously and glue onto your tag. Next I cut out a journal card from " Beauty in the details " paper. I also cut out the NY library piece. See photo:

With foam tape I adhered my life journal card and tucked the library card behind it using foam dots. I applied a heart sticker on the left edge of my tag. I glued a the back rickrack piece along the bottom edge and glued a Ephemera circle piece in the center. Here's a finished photo:

Tag 4: I covered my tag with the " Simple Pleasures & Stay Curious" paper.

Fussycut out 3x4 element journal card. Save the scrap piece from the bottom. Also fussycut out 2 green butterflies from " Beauty in the details" paper.
I also chose a clock sticker, pink butterfly sticker, Prima flower.

With foam tape I adhered one of my journal cards and tucked the other Ephemera piece behind it. I took the scrap piece and glued it at the bottom edge tucking part of it under my journal card. I added the clock sticker at the top left with foam dots. I glued my 2 green butterflies scattered and applied Stickles Glitter Stardust on their wings. I glued my Prima flower at the bottom tucking my pink butterfly behind some of the petals with glue. Add some Stickles Glitter on the wings. I applied a sticker sentiment across the journal card and with foam dots added a paper dolls. Create another hinge from another scrap paper and attach your 3 & 4th tags together as we did previously. Here's a photo:

Take out your TJ Chipboard border piece from the kit. I applied Copper ink and sprinkled copper Embossing powder over top. Heat emboss.

Then add a sticker circle in the center of your Chipboard piece.
Take another Chipboard tag and cover with paper.

Glue your TJ Chipboard piece in the center. This will be your back cover of your signature. I glued this tag to the backside of tag 4. See photo:

Take tag 6:( last tag) I covered my tag with " Beauty in the details" paper and cut out this journal card.

I gathered some Ephemera pieces and cut out this floal card. Take one of the Tres Jolie Chipboard stamps and border piece.

I took my Chipboard stamp and applied some Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Victorian Velvet and applied it on the edge of my Chipboard stamp let dry. Cut the floral card to fit inside your Chipboard stamp. Ink edges and glue in place.

With foam tape I adhered my journal card. I added the border piece at the bottom edge. I glued the everyday tab at the top. I took a mini clothes pin and attached a Ephemera ticket at the top of my journal card. I stapled my Important Ephemera piece onto the leftside of my journal card. Glue the Tres Jolie Chipboard stamp towards the bottom. I glued a Prima Marketing flower at the bottom left corner. I tucked the pink fussy cut butterfly between my flower petals and applied some Stickles Glitter Stardust on the butterfly wings! I added a sticker sentiment along the bottom. Then glue your tag on the front over the backside of Tag 1. I did end up adding some sticker, and ephemera pieces over my holes on my tag. But you could add ribbon, twine or string through the holes on your tags.
Take your signatures and glue tag 2 to tag 3. This will attach all tag together to create your tag book.

Glue your front tag to the backside of Tag 1.
Here's acouple finished photos of the front of my Signature Tag book!
