Hello Craft Friends!
I'm Dana! Thank you for stopping by the Tres Jolie Blog! Today I'll be creating some Butterfly Floral Cards and matching envelopes!
I'm using Tres Jolie July Cards Tags and More kit! The kit includes 3 different size white deckle edge Cards bases plus envelopes! This is such an added bonus. You'll also receive 8x8 pretty patterned papers from Studio Light's "Aurelia" collection with Floral designs and More. Plus a element sheet for fussycutting. But there's more...Also included are Nellie's Multi Frame Dies, Tres Jolie Chipboards, Prima Marketing Flowers and Versa Magic- Pink Grapefruit Chalk Ink!
From my Craft stash I'll be using Sentiment stamps, Foam dots, Dazzle stickers, Pearl gems, Foil transfers, Copper and black ink.
To begin I chose one of the white card bases. I'm using the 6x6 size card base.I cut my first patterned paper to measure 5 & 3/4 x 5 & 3/4 inches and glue onto your card base. See photos:
Next I cut another patterned paper to measure 5 & 3/8 x 5 &3/8 inches. I adhered on top of my previous card layer, using foam dots. Set your card aside. Take one of the Tres Jolie Chipboard Butterflies here's where you can find them in the Tres Jolie shop: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/sized-for-cards
and apply Versa Magic Pink Grapefruit Chalk Ink over top of my butterfly wings. I colored the body of my chipboard butterfly with some blue glitter pen from my stash i appliedacoupleDazzlestickerson the tips of the butterfly antennas. See photos:
With foam tape, I adhered my butterfly to the top left corner on my card base. I fussycut out some floral images and leaves from the leftover scrap paper. See photo:
