Build Your Wings Decor

Today I'm sharing my first project I made using the October scrapbook kit.
I fell in love with the this piece of paper, and I just thought it was perfect as it is, so I knew I was going to turn it into a piece of wall decor:
I had a wood circle I picked up from Michaels a while back, perfect for a 12X12 piece of paper. I traced the circle on the paper, then scored and cut the pieces to glue onto each of the wood panels. I heavily distressed the paper and inked it with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink from my stash.
Although it's not really apparent in the pictures, I used a glitter pen to accent the wings on the paper. I added a title from my stash.
I used some Stampendous Aged Black embossing powder to one of the Tres Jolie chipboard pieces which you can see peeking out from under the Prima flowers and leaves, and the Prima baubles. I also added one of the printed chipboard clocks in the flower cluster.
