"Always and Forever" Layout with Rae

Happy Sunday!

The February kit reveal was just this past week, but if you haven't seen the scrapbook kit yet, check it out:

I am a huge fan of 49 and Market, and this month we have the Vintage Artistry Blush collection and a couple of sheets from the Vintage Artistry Sage collection as well! And those rub-ons- I am so in love with them, and I went crazy using them on my layout that I have made using the February Mood Board:

Here's what I came up with:

The twist for the mood board is layers, and I added plenty!  I started out by using three pieces of paper for the large layers.  I ripped the top layers using my favorite We R Memory Keepers distress edge ruler- I love the look!  To create even more of a distressed look, I also added some grey ink to also balance out the darkness in the photo I chose to use and to match up to the window cut out.

Next, I planned out all of the layers, starting with the large grey window cut out from the Blush paper pack, and then moving to the coordinating Ephemera Stack and more cut outs- there are so many great pieces.  Once I decided on what layers I was going to use, I took a picture, then removed them and added a ton of the rub-ons so they peek out through the layers, and some even visible from the little windows.

I used "Aged Gold" embossing powder from Stampendous (from my stash) to the Tres Jolie chipboard keys.

I added the 49 and Market flowers to the edges of of my photo, then I tucked in some lace and added some of the rub-on green beads to the large middle layer.

I also added a couple of the flower and leaf cut outs to peek out from under the layers.

Thanks for stopping by the blog! Be sure to check back all month long: we have some really fun projects and tutorials to share!
