Altered Embroidery Hoop
Hi, everyone.
Today I'm sharing a small piece I made using the October scrapbook and mixed media kits.
I took a 5 inch embroidery hoop and misted it with the pink mist from the kit. Once dry, I traced it on one of the Craft o Clock papers from the kit, and glue it to the back.
Next I cut out a tag and the statue image, and create my design cluster, adding some of the Prima leaves from the kit as well some of the Craft o Clock printed chipboard. I also used the Tres Jolie music heart chipboard that I embossed using pink and gold embossing powders.
Next, I added some of the brown sisal from the mixed media kit that I shaped into a circle, then glued to the outside of the hoop. Lastly, I added some of the Prima gold and pink baubles, also in the kit, as well as a Prima flower and more of the leaves.
