4 Simple Cards for National Card Making Day & YT Hop

Hi everyone,

Today is National Card Making Day and I have 4 Simple Cards to share with you along with an inspirational YT hop with some of my crafty friends.

I will have the links in the video tutorial shown below, but I also have the step by step tutorial below for you.

October 2025 Scrapbook Kit

For all 4 cards these will be the standard size A2 ( 4 1/4 x 5 1/2). Above each card I will list the measurements and the items I used from the October 2025 Scrapbook Kit and when I used foam tape. You can also view the process video on the YouTube Channel shown above.

Card 1

Panel 1 - 3 1/8 x 5 3/8; Panel 2 - 3 3/4 x 5

I used the brown polka dot paper first and then layered the second panel on top. I then used the large ephemera piece inked edges with Potters Clay Momento Ink. I cut out one of the tags from the tag sheet and backed up with the brown polka dot paper. For a nice simple touch I adhered the golden leaf charm.

Card 2

Panel 1 - 5 1/8 x 3 3/4; Panel 2 - 5 x 3 5/8; Panel 3 - 4 7/8 x 3 1/2

I adhered all the panels together and adhered on top the card base. I then used a large piece epherema from the Scrapbook Kit package and applied on the fox rub-on. I then added the leaves and pumpkin from the sticker sheet popped up with foam tape and adhered down the glitter word "Blessed" from the Button Galore pack. Love how this card turned out and that little fox is just too cute.

Card 3

First Set - Panel 1 - 4 x 5 1/8; Panel 2 - 3 3/4 x 5;                                                            Second Set (Squares) - Panel 1 - 2 1/4 x 2 1/2; Panel 2 - 2 x 2 1/4

Adhere all the panels together and place down the larger panels down the card base. The square pieces are shown below on how they are placed on top. two will be placed below on another about 1/2 inch from the rights ide edge and the 3rd square is placed on top of the two but over to the left side. I used foam squares behind mine to give a lift but you do not have to do this if you don't want. I then added the yellow flowers on top of the middle square piece along with some of the bits and pieces hearts from the package. I added a sticker word "Thankful For You" adhered on top of one of the tab pieces and backed with foam tape.

Card 4

First Set - Panel 1 - 3 1/4 x 4 1/8; Panel 2 - 3 1/8 x 4;                                                            Second Set (Long piece) - Panel 1 - 2 x 4 1/4; Panel 2 - 1 7/8 x4; Panel 3 - 1 3/4 x 3 3/4

For this card adhere all the panels together, place the larger piece on top leaving about 2 inches underneath. Then adhere the longer panel on the right side leaving about 1/8th inch and placed it down on the lower half of the card base as shown below. Next I fussy cut out the leaves from one of the cut apart cards. I then used the rub-ons on the lower half of the card in the yellow space area and added a flower rub- on as well. I then added another rub-on which is the window and adhered down a sunflower from the ticker sheet popped up with foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. I had a great time creating these super Simple Cards for you today and I hope you decide to create some cards using the October Scrapbook Kit. I also hope you try using the rub-ons they are so simple to use and a great way to add some elements to your creations.
