2023 Calendar Kit Project

Hello Crafters! Dana here! Hope the new year has been treating you well. I don't know about you, but after the holidays are over, I find more time to Craft during those times when the weather is cold and snowy. I like to grab some hot cocoa and start crafting!

We have a really fun project to share from InkyStamper. This kit includes a 2023 calendar kit and a sturdy wood stand from Tres Jolie! Perfect to display on your desk or shelf. The cute stamped images are ready to color! This kit also comes with colored pictures of every month. Grab your kit so you can get started.

To begin this project, I colored all my stamped characters using some Prisma colored pencils (from my stash) But you can use markers or any other color medium you chose. I added some Stickles glitter (from my stash)on some of my images to add alittle sparkle! Here's a closer look at a few of my colored stamped images:

Starting with the month of January, I adhered my patterned paper strip slightly above the month. Then glue your sentiment strip about 1/4 inch from the bottom edge of your patterned paper. Note: I did Ink  my sentiment pieces with Distress Ink before gluing them down. Using foam dots, I applied my stamped mouse image on the right side.  I fussy cut a few images from some scrap winter papers I had in my craft stash. I also added a sticker sentiment on the upper right corner and a few Snowflake stickers from my stash. This is a great way to use up scrap papers and stickers you have left over from older paper collections! But you can skip this step if you prefer. I applied some Stickles Stardust glitter on the roof of my little house image. I also matted my January calendar onto a piece of light blue glitter cardstock in my stash. You can skip this step if you like. Here's a closeup look:

February calendar: I repeated the same steps to adhere my patterned paper and sentiment piece. I applied foam dots on my walrus image as we did for the previous month. I added a valentine sentiment at the top and a few Dazzle star stickers from my stash. I matted my calendar on red glitter cardstock in my stash. Here's some closeups!

Repeat all steps as previously noted for all of the monthly calendars. The extra embellishments were from my stash. Here's some closeups of how I decorated each of my monthly calendars.
