"Vintage Christmas" Gift Bags Mood Board Challenge Project
Its finally December everyone!! Today I am sharing taking simple brown paper bags and turning them into Christmas gift bags !
I used the beautiful Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie for this project. This kit is so much fun to create with and has so much product to create several projects for Christmas!
I chose the paper I would like to create with, I measured and cut and adhered the base paper. On the bag with the Santa, I actually used a piece of ephemera from a past kit that included an ephemera pack from 49 and Market. I layered it adding some foam tape to adhere it onto the base paper. I did ink the edges on all of my papers before adhering them down using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink , one of my favorite distress inks.
I then added a gold glitter wreath from the December Cards, Tags, and More kit. Also adding some stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet from the collection and chipboard from the chipboard clusters package. Finishing it off with some gold/black vintage shimmer trim from my personal stash.
Next up is the gift bag that features a beautiful moose. I pretty much did the same on this gift bag. I however did use on of the cut our sheets from the 12x12 paper pack that has the 3x4 elements. I again used ephemera from a 49 and Market ephemera pack as I did on the last one. I used the same vintage gold/black shimmer trim on it and also used a Little Birdie Crafts Pollen Gold Poinsettia which is included in this Scrapbook Kit. Last I added a small silver bell to the moose so it would look a little dimensional. Adding a few stickers just like the previous altered bag.
These bags were very fun to create, they also only measure 4 3/4 X 6 3/4 so I will definitely created a few more of these before Christmas if I'm in need for more of those last minute gifts or maybe even use it to stuff it into a stocking!
