"Tranquility" Memory Dex Cards
Hello Crafty Friends! Jeanne here coming to you today in a new month and a new project! I This month's Scrapbook Kit is BEAUTIFUL! Who doesn't love the amazingly beautiful "Tranquility" collection from 49 and Market! I was super excited to receive this kit this month from Kim because not only do I love their collections but I really love their laser cut element sheets and their chipboard elements! For this reason I decided I would use these to create these Memory Dex Cards. So here is what I made!
I began by cutting four different American Crafts Textured Cardstock at 4 X 3.25 , Next I used my Spellbinders Platinum Die Cut machine and some Doily Border Decorative Metal Dies to use on my cards. I then picked out the papers from the 12x12 Tranquility collection and cut those the same size as the cardstock. Next I took my Heidi Swapp Memory Dex Punch and I made the holes on my papers.
Next I took my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and my 49 & Market clear stitch stamp and stamped some of the edges of my pattern paper. Once I finished stamping, I then began to adhere my papers together using Beacon Fabri Tac Adhesive. Next I laid them on front of me because I find it easier to add to all of them instead of one at a time, and began adding a variety of laces and some cheese cloth, some of the Laser Cut Elements and Chipboard Elements from the kit , flowers from the kit and some Prima Marketing flowers from my stash.
To finish them off I using Finnabair Mica Powders "Vintage Roses" and a tiny drop of Finnabair Snow White Impasto Paints each mixed with water then using a splatter brush around all the cards. I also added some white pearl embellishments.
I love to create these to send for swaps or just to send to friends as I will be doing that this year. I will be making more and I will share those with you as well I hope that you all like what I created for my first project this month using the March Scrapbook kit.
