The Kiss using The January Scrapbooking Kit

Hello my name is Jennifer Cain and I am a new design team member to the Tres Jolie Kit Club. I am looking forward to bringing you amazing layouts for the month of January. I am starting out with a beautiful landscape wedding layout. I scrapbook in 8 1/2x11 including double pages and landscape layouts. This is an 11x8 1/2 landscape layout.

I used the beautiful flowers that are included in the kit to embellish the corners around the photo. I tucked in chipboard leaves too. For the leaves I painted them with clear gesso and white acrylic paint mixed together. I added Shimmerz paints to them after they dried. The Shimmerz paints is great because of the shimmer but it will soak into the chipboard and leave no color without the gesso. 

I loved this butterfly and I painted it also with the gesso and shimmerz paints. In real life it has a shimmer to it, I stamped around the photo with a stitching stamp. I inked all the edges of the mats and the edge of the layout. 

I added thickers from my stash for the title. More flowers and chipboard leaves to the left of the title.
