"Devynne's Art" Mood Board Challenge Layout

Hi Crafty Friends! Jeanne here to share my 1st project for the month of November using the Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie!  Also using this project as a project for this month's mood board challenge.
I absolutely love this collection "Vintage Beauty" from Craft O' Clock. There is so much one can do with this kit! So I've decided to create a layout featuring my beautiful grand daughter Devynne. Continue reading to see how I've created this layout!
All of the 12x12 sheets are perfect for layouts, the beautiful designs make it easy. So I didn't need to do very much! I began by fussy cutting flowers other images from the amazing cut out sheets, which I've stated before that they are my favorite. I then picked out the flowers I would be using, I did using the burlap flowers from the kit and others from my stash.
When creating my layouts I find it easier to place everything without adhering where I would like it to go. I then usually take a photo so I don't forget how I would like it.

I first took my photo and adhered to some ivory cardstock and a piece from another paper from the collection. I usually add foam tape strips to the back of the photos but I'm waiting on some to come in that I've ordered. So I used the next best thing, card board. This works great too!
I then began adhering everything back on starting with a beautiful flower spray I've had in my stash for a few years already. I also added some cheese cloth in between the burlap flowers from the kit and some others from my stash.
Also adding the beautiful flowers that I had previously fussy cut.

I also place some other beautiful images that I had fussy cut included watercolors and brushes in a cute cup, and a stack of letters.
Then I took one of the sentiment stickers from the Finnabair Sentiment Sticker booklet that was from a previous Tres Jolie Kit, and cut it up and placed them adding extra adhesive. This sentiment says " Make room for your art" which was perfect for this layout. Then I added some Finnabair Art Stones from a past kit as well and some pearl embellishments I had in my stash. I finished it off by mixing up some Finnabair Mica Powders with water and splattered it making sure I covered my photo first. I actually used 2 different colors of the Mica Powders. These were also from previous Tres Jolie Kits.
So this was how I created this layout my friends! I do hope you take time to create something amazing using this kit which is perfect to join in this month's mood board challenge. The rules for that are down below. If you have not purchased this kit yet, you definitely should have it!
I do hope I have sprinkled some inspiration your way and you enjoyed seeing what I've created and everything I have added. Also using items from previous kits makes it that much easier. So hurry and subscribe to these monthly kits so you don't miss out of these amazing kits that Kim puts together!
