Hello everyone ! so happy to share new creations with brand new November kit ! Today I am sharing a layout made with the Scrapbook kit and a few things from the MM kit.   This paper is so beautiful with the 2 big butterflies that I didn’t want to hide them.  That is why I tried to keep it simple.  On the background I used the stamp from AB Studio and painted them with Watercolor from my stash.  I chose colors that matched my photo.  The die cut flowers you see behind the photo were made with a friend’s die cut I tried on my scrapbook weekend. I cut the tag from one of the AB Studio papers.  I added some flowers and Art Stones.

Memories by Annie Carignan

Hello everyone ! I am sharing today another layout with October Scrapbook Kit. I don’t use dark backgrounds very often so this was a challenge for me ! I think it turned out pretty well 🙂 See below my photo tutorial :

First thing I always do is put a coat of clear gesso on the surface.

The paper from 13@rts had a beautiful texture and I wanted to add to it so I used a wood veneer stencil from my stash with paste.

Then I added some Pink spray also from my stash and added a little water.

I used a paper from the Prima Misty Rose collection and cut out some die-cuts and a frame included in a Prima flower pack also.  Finished off with lace and flowers and a wood title from 13@arts.

Friends by Annie Carignan

Hello everyone ! We have a beautiful sketch this month and I am presenting a layout I made inspired by it.

Here is my take on the sketch :

First thing I did is applying clear Gesso on the surface because I knew I would be using lots of mediums.  Once everything was dry I used a stencil from my stash and put on both sides.  I used a lot of 13@rts Turquoise Mist on all the surface and also some Pink from my stash.  I cut out some peaces from “Their word for each other” Prima paper and the frame from the Prima flower pack to put under and around the photo.  I finished with flowers, wood peaces and title from 13@arts.

Wishes by Annie Carignan

Hello all !! Today I am sharing with you a layout made with October’s Scrapbook Kit.  This month’s kit is filled with gorgeous papers from Prima and 13@rts.

I started of course by a coat of Clear Gesso on the surface to prepare my paper for mediums.  As you can see on the photo I used a stencil from my stash with crackle paint.

Once the flowers were dry I used Watercolors in different Pink shades.

I did the same thing with Green on the leaves. I wanted the roses to blend with the flowers that are already on the paper.

Here is a closer look :

I also took a flower stamp from my stash with Black ink to add texture. At last, I cut some flowers from the other papers from the kit to use them as Ephemeras on the layout.

Material used :

13@rts Rose Fields Paper Collection (6 Sheets)
13@rts A4 Rose Fields Elements Sheet
13@rts 12×12 Chipboard sheet

Mini Album by Annie Carignan

Hello everyone ! Here I am again for another month as Guest Designer, really happy to share some new creations with October’s beautiful kits 🙂  Today I am using the Card Kit :

For this month’s card kit, I decided to make a mini-album with the tags from Graphic 45.  I used different papers from the paper pad also from Graphic 45 for the background of my pages. I did not use any mediums for this album because the papers themselves are already filled with flowers and colours.  I added stickers (Graphic 45 Sticker sheet), lace and flowers on each page.

The photos are of my kids from a few years ago when we went for a photoshoot.

Material used :

  1. Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe 8×8 paper pad
  2. Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe 12×12 sticker sheet
  3. Graphic 45 Large Black Tags (6)
  4. 1 yd Lace trim
  5. Lace appliques (3)
  6. Mixed Color puffy flowers

Thank you for stopping by,

Cards by Annie Carignan

Hello everyone ! Here I am today sharing 2 sets of cards made with September’s card kit.  You have cardstock, Maggie Holmes paper pack, flowers, lace and a set of dies !

For both cards, I pretty much used the same techniques.  I chose 5 different patterned papers from the paper pad and glued them on the cardstock.  Then I used the stencil that came with a Prima flower pack from the Scrapbook kit and used it on the papers with Modeling Paste.   I used a stamp from my stash as well as sprays to create texture.  At the end I finished with flowers and added some Gesso on the flowers.

For the next 2 cards, I used a white background and a border stamp from my stash. I chose two different papers for each card and put a frame made with the die cuts.  Added some flowers and embellishments from the Scrapbook kit and finished with splashes of color.

Material used

Maggi Holmes- Flourish 6×8 Paper pad
Bazzill Classic – Dark Kraft Cardstock 12 x 12
I Am Roses – Mixed Curly Flowers
Darice – Nested Doily Frame Die
Hand dyed seam binding

Hello everyone ! Here I am again with another layout for September Kit 🙂

I wanted this layout to be mostly Black and White.  That is why I chose both sides of a paper from BoBunny (Lace). I put a little bit of Turquoise Paint and flowers to go with the Ephemeras (Prima) and the circles that I cut from a Prima paper (Traveling Floral).  Behind the photos I used the frames that come with the flower packs also from Prima.  I used here and there the stencil from another flower pack with Modeling Paste.  I cut the chipboard in 2 pieces and painted it black and Turquoise.  I added embellishments (Black resin Butterfly) and flowers cut from a paper (Traveling Floral).

Here are some closer details :

Material used :

Prima Flirty Fleur – Traveling Florals
Bo Bunny Black Tie – Lace
Resin Wood in a box – Butterfly
Prima Flirty Fleur Ephemera
Prima Flirty Fleur Flowers – Goldkiss
Prima Flirty Fleur Flowers – Minty Sprinkles
Creative Embellishments – Swirly Border
Darice – Self Stick Gems (Black)

See you soon with another post, where I will show you what I made with the card kit 😉

You and Me by Annie Carignan

Hello everyone ! I am sharing today my second layout and this time it is for the Mood Board presented this month :

These colors are just perfect with this month’s kit! On top of all Mint is one of my favorite colors.  I was inspired mostly by the palette and also the time clock.

I started with a coat of clear Gesso on all of the surface. Once dry I used 3 different shades of Turquoise watercolours.

In the meantime I embossed the beautiful chipboard with Embossing Powder from my stash.

As you can see, I cut the chipboard into peaces so I could put use it on both sides of the photo and at the right bottom.  I used some clocks from my stash and added beautiful flowers.

I wanted to keep it light so I painted the cute butterflies from Prima with White Gesso.

Material used :

Scrapbook kit:

Prima Flirty Fleur – So Lovely
Prima Flirty Fleur – Traveling Florals

Resin Wood in a box – Butterfly

Prima Flirty Fleur Flowers – Goldkiss

Happiness by Annie Carignan

Hello everyone !

I am so happy to share with you my very first reveal as Guest DT for this month ! Let me walk you through the process of this layout :

First thing I did was applying Clear Gesso on the surface.  Once that was dry I used the small stencil included in one of Prima’s flower set (isn’t that a great idea they had?) with Paste on the papers.

I took some aquarelle Mint paint from my stash and put some on the paper as you can see on the photo. Then I took some Ephemeras and papers from the kit and started to put everything in place.  I just LOVE the frames included in Prima’s flower sets !!!
